About Emily

Emily Sarkis offers a unique combination of graphic design and technical web development expertise. She holds a BS in Computer Science from Tufts University where she also minored in Studio Art through a university partnership with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Ms. Sarkis also holds a MA in Communication Arts from the New York Institute of Technology.

In addition to her formal training, Ms. Sarkis has designed and developed various websites and print collateral for Fortune 500 clients over the past 7 years including many companies in the financial industry.

Prior to founding Emily Sarkis Designs, LLC., Ms. Sarkis was a User Interface Designer at RichFX, Inc. where she designed and built the user interface for RichFX’s SaaS web application, myRichFX. She also designed the user interface for the catalog and zoom products including custom UI and feature design for clients such as Neiman Marcus, JCPenney, Disney Travel, Coach, Michael Kors, and many others. Ms. Sarkis provided website usability reviews for high profile clients including J.Jill and other retailers.

Prior to her time at RichFX, Ms. Sarkis was a Senior Web Developer and Designer at Random Walk Computing, Inc., now an Accenture company. At Random Walk, Ms. Sarkis designed marketing collateral including postcards, brochures, datasheets, tradeshow signage, and whitepapers. Ms. Sarkis also designed and developed the UIs of web applications for a number of banks and financial institutions, including Charles Schwab, UBS Investment Bank, FXall, and many others. These applications included trading applications, internal websites, and other financial web applications.
